The premiere of the musical “La Paz” by Aristophanes was a success. On June 13 and 15, at Majadahonda’s municipal auditorium, “Alfredo Kraus”, this Greek classic was performed in a stage version by Hitos Hurtado and original songs and music by yours truly, Gonzalo Gª Santos.
Recently, I had the honor of meeting in person one of the Spanish composers with great international projection. He was kind enough to come to the teaching center where I teach Musical Analysis and History of Music and Dance, to introduce my students to the creative work of the film musician.
On January 1, 2012 a new devotional program has been released for Alfa y Omega Studios, a Christian resource center located in Seymour, Connecticut, USA. Thanks to new communication technologies we can work together for any country in the world. This is a clear example.
One of the jobs that has given me the greatest satisfaction has been the composition of the musical soundtrack for the film by the young Colombian filmmaker and screenwriter Jhon Salazar: El Zulo. It is a coproduction of the Colombian Borojo Producciones and the Spanish Espacio Técnico Z.
A concise and great introduction to sound in film history. Well worth a watch.
A new advertising video has just seen the light. It is the presentation of the advertising, film and TV production company, Arte Buscavidas, headed by the young and restless Andy Navarra.
In the May 31 show held at the Majadahonda auditorium “Alfredo Kraus”, the play by playwright Julio Salvatierra “El muerto y el mar” (The Dead and the Sea) was premiered with great success.
