I have a degree in Classical Philology and later obtained the Superior Title of Professor of Harmony, Counterpoint, Composition and Orchestration at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid, where I received the teaching of Antón García Abril, Luis de Pablo, and Emilio Rey among others.
I furthered my training in Music Pedagogy, Singing and Choir Conducting, Dance Music, Film Music at the Fundación Autor, Electroacoustic Music and Sound at the Gabinete del Conservatorio de Cuenca, where I premiered and published experimental and avant-garde works on CD.

I have been part as keyboardist and composer of several jazz, pop-rock and Spanish music groups.

Within the experimental and avant-garde field I premiere several works in which I combine electroacoustic with live performance and video creation.
Since 1990 I am a professor of Music in Secondary School where I teach Music Analysis, History of Music and Image and Sound in High School.

I produce several CD’s (C.B.M) with the students and I direct the high school choir.
I have taught several courses of Sound and Musical Computing and Musical Analysis in several Teacher Training Centers.
I have published with the publishing house San Pablo the musical education project for Primary School “El Planeta Sonoro”, in which, besides being co-author of the texts, I compose and produce the original songs and create educational games for computer, designing the sound and creating the tunings.
I have collaborated as an article writer in the music magazines “Melómano” and “Ritmo y Compás“.
Winner of Sony Entertainment‘s “Urban art” contest in the “Original Sound” section for his work “Subterráneos”.
Winner in 2002 of the “Fundación Guerrero” Honor Award for his orchestral work “Sinfónica Litúrgica”.
He began collaborating with the San Pablo publishing house with the meditative music album “Instrumento de tu Paz” with which he won the David Radio Award in 2007 for Best Meditative and Instrumental Music Album.
In 2013, with the musical La Paz de Aristófanes, in version Francisco Nieva-Hitos Hurtado wins the Musical Dramaturgy Award of the University Carlos III of Madrid for the composition and production of the songs and incidental music of this work.
