A man in the wardrobe

This is my last band I made for Alfavet Studio. Directed by Diego Aldabaldetrecu and written by Sara Martínez, this short horror film connects with the childhood fears that we all have felt at some time.
The music has two distinct sections. The central section is built with a musical texture composed from the sonorities of orchestral instruments, including a piano played directly on the harp, which contrasts with the children’s world of vibraphones and music boxes. A main melody that disintegrates and reconstructs itself according to the expressive needs demanded by the images is in charge of carrying the common thread that unifies the different scenes of the film.
Personally, as a composer, it has been a satisfaction to build the musical soundtrack since it has no dialogues.
