I have published a music education project for Primary School consisting of six books for the student and six guides for the teacher, with their corresponding activity booklets. San Pablo Publishing House.
With El Planeta Sonoro es un Proyecto we wanted to emphasize the importance of the student’s experience of music. The contents are presented in the first cycle through the language of storytelling, with the extraterrestrial Flopi, Bea and Alex as protagonists; in the second cycle through the language of comics, with Marisol Famí; and in the third cycle through activities based on the language of radio.
The activities have a progressive difficulty and develop strictly musical contents in combination with other objectives and contents of the stage to achieve functional and meaningful learning. In addition, all sections include improvisation exercises that develop the student’s creativity.
Teacher’s Books
The Guide, available for each course, includes an introduction with the presentation, general characteristics and methodology of the Project, as well as the structure of the didactic unit.
For each didactic unit, the Guide offers:
- The structure of the contents and the indication of the tracks of the Audio CD (songs, soundtracks…), and of the scores, stories and games of the teacher’s CD-ROM corresponding to the unit.
- Description of the activities and didactic and pedagogical suggestions.
- Solutions to the activities and exercises in the Student’s Book.
- Complete text of the stories (First cycle) and comics (Second cycle).
- Scores of the original and popular songs.
- At the end of the Guide, the teacher has specialized bibliography and musical resources on the Internet.
- In the Teacher’s Guide, the pages of the Student’s Book are reproduced to facilitate classroom work.
